That is the second major incident to hit the huge instant messaging platform in a month’s time. On March 29th they reported a problem with the power supply to the servers, something that could quickly be restored after a few hours without service, but this time the problem is more severe because of a hardware problem linked to one of the servers that maintain the platform.
Telegram again in trouble for Europe after server damage
Although in the above-mentioned failure the hard fall is only about 3 hours, it is already more than 12 hours since the service in Europe is inoperative, and according to official sources of the company, this problem is due to the fact that one of the servers has experienced “excessive heating”, so to avoid significant issues, this server has to be removed to check where the failure comes from and fix it.
Unfortunately, the representatives of Telegram have not given any further information, about 12 hours ago they gave the exact reason, but no deadline was given to re-establish the service of an application with more than 200 million active users.
About to publish the article, it seems that they have finally been able to restore the service, they load messages received last night, but when it comes to sending messages there are still problems, so it will be a matter of a short time before it works again to perfection.
