Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is set to release this March, and gameplay videos were streamed in Japan by Playstation Japan and Famitsu magazine. It is said that players can equip two professions at once in this game, and Jack Garland can learn various abilities from the professions and unlock new ones after meeting the requirements.
Those are the system requirements for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, and it looks like you won’t need an overly powerful PC to play it.
Developed by Koei Tecmo rather than Square Enix, this modern adaptation of the first Final Fantasy could be one of the best JRPGs on PC. The game will be released on March 18, and we’re looking forward to trying it out.
According to the specs, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 will suffice, though you must have the 6GB version of that GPU. On the AMD side, a Radeon RX 4760 will serve the same purpose and allow us to enjoy the game without any issues. Considering this along with the rest of the game’s minimum requirements, we can expect the performance of around 30 FPS at 720p.

The difference between the minimum requirements and the recommended requirements isn’t much. As it stands, the game would be pretty optimized. We’ll have to wait until it comes out to see in detail how the game performs at different resolutions and if it will do well at higher resolutions or possible compatibility with Nvidia’s RTX. We’ll have to wait until March 18 to find out.
