NASA’s plans to send manned missions aboard SpaceX and Boeing may be somewhat delayed – thanks to the companies, not NASA itself – but they will definitely take place later.
To ensure that all tests are complete and the ships are ready to transport passengers, NASA astronauts will start flying, because next week we will find out who will be on board the two missions.
NASA announced that the nomination of the astronauts for the first manned missions Dragon SpaceX and Boeing Starliner will take place at the sixth show on August 3. The event will take place at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and will also be broadcast live on NASA’s YouTube website.
“NASA announces the crew’s duties for the road tests and the first post-certification missions of Boeing and SpaceX,” he told NASA on its official website.
These partnerships have been put to the test in recent months as both companies have already set themselves two goals that have led to their subsequent manned missions.
At this moment it seems progressively proven that NASA does not have a SpaceX or Boeing satellite to maintain a constant flow of American astronauts towards the International Space Station. One thing is known: the missões only go astronauts.
