Sony H8526, Sony unveils a new product. At the moment Sony is not at its peak in the smartphone market, but it does not intend to give up. Sony H8526 is the codename for the Japanese company’s new flagship device, which has come to Geekbench to showcase the enormous potential of its Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.

Sony H8526 passes by Geekbench to showcase the benefits of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor

Sony H8526 has achieved a Geekbench score of 3033 points and 10992 points in the single core and multi-core tests respectively. These results put it 30% above what the Snapdragon 845, the current top-of-the-range processor from the North American manufacturer, is capable of. However, these results place it below the Apple A11 processor used on the iPhone X, which scores 4,250 and 10,100 points at the same conditions.

Looking further back, the Snapdragon 835 offered a performance of 2,000 and 6,700 points, underscoring the dramatic improvement in Qualcomm’s top-of-the-range processors over two generations. Not to mention that the Sony H8526 is still in the development phase, so it is likely that the optimization will be improved before the final release, which could further improve its performance. The Snapdragon 855 will have a 2 Gbps LTE modem and with the optional X50 modem, it will also have 5G connectivity.
