Microsoft has announced that Skype for Windows 10 is expecting major changes. A large update of the popular application is under preparation, which will contribute, for example, the ability to customize group video chats. But that’s not all, because Skype for Windows 10 will also provide other enhancements.
Skype for Windows 10 will soon be extensively updated. First, however, it will be tested by members of a secret window testing program, i.e. Windows Insider. Only afterwards the new messenger will be made available to all users.
The new version of Skype for Windows 10 will bring improvements including customizing group video calls. In this way, each of the windows where the person appears can be moved to a different location. This will allow you to customize the video chat window to suit your preferences.
Another new feature is the ability to create screenshots inside the program. Let’s assume that during videoconferencing someone shows important slides from the presentation or charts and they have to be saved. Now you can do it directly in the Skype window. Microsoft will also introduce the possibility of sharing a desktop of your own computer.
Microsoft has also made some changes to Skype’s interface, where there is more scope for personalizing the appearance of the instant messenger. Unfortunately, it is not known yet when it is planned to make the new application available to all Windows 10 users, and the tests will probably take at least a few weeks.
