Sapphire Radeon RX 590 Nitro+: A GPU with 12nm technology

This is a version with a radiator and a rear panel. According to VideoCardz, manufacturers are choosing to equip their RX 590 graphics cards with their best cooling solutions. Asus, for example, has a model in its RoG Strix series, and earlier photographs appeared of a PowerColor variant with a triple cooler.

VideoCardz mentions a date in a news release about the Sapphire Radeon RX 590 Nitro+. Up to now, leaks have shown that the RX 590 graphics cards are equipped with a Polaris 30 GPU. This is an update of the Polaris 20 GPU on the RX 580 graphics cards. Like its predecessor, the new GPU has 2304 stream processors but is manufactured at 12nm instead of 14 nm. The clock frequencies of the RX 590 are probably higher than those of the RX 580.

The cost of the new graphics cards is not yet known. Only versions with 8 GB GDDR5 memory seem to be available. RX 580 variants with this memory capacity and comparable coolers currently cost between 250 and 300 Euros.
