Samsung is working on a gaming smartphone. About three months have passed since the previous rumor about the development of a smartphone for gamers by the South Korean manufacturer and new rumors bring it back again on the scene.

Leakster Ice Universe reported on Weibo that Samsung is still working on a phone designed mainly for gamers. That rumor is not new at all, but in the leak, there is new information about what kind of graphical layout will be in Samsung’s phone. That is probably the S-GPU chip.

S-GPU is a theoretically mobile graphics chip invented by Samsung and being developed for almost four years. The work was slowed down when Samsung signed an agreement with the ARM to integrate its GPUs with Exynos processors. In June of this year, however, the company began working hard on a new graphics chip that analysts believe would be in direct competition with Apple.

Obviously, there is almost nothing known about the potential mobile phone for Samsung players for the time being. Rumors about the new chip are still waiting to be confirmed, particularly regarding which phones it will emerge on. The company is silent about this.

It is true that the gaming smartphone segment is growing and that more and more top brands are presenting new models, but currently, there is no concrete evidence of a Samsung terminal in this category, that means any supporting photos, benchmarks or more comprehensive information from reliable sources.
