Samsung is one of the first companies to present new products at IFA 2018 in Berlin. In concrete terms, the company presented the Q900R QLED 8K TV. They are available in three different sizes (65, 75 and 85 inches), and one of the main features beyond the already remarkable 8K resolution is the integration of 8K AI upscaling technology.

Samsung Q900R reproduce all your content to 8K

With its artificial intelligence, the television improves picture and sound quality, regardless of the format of the original source, and tries to reproduce 8K quality in height. No matter where the content comes from, streaming, HDMI, USB or even duplicating the screen of our mobile phone, the Quantum Processor 8K can scale this type of content to 8K quality and also achieve better contrast. With no evidence of its final performance, it looks like a really promising technology.

Furthermore, it is equipped with a panel with HDR10+ technology and the ability to generate brightness peaks of up to 4,000 nits. According to the company, this is something “only most film studios have done so far”. An additional feature of the TV is the improved ambient mode, which gives us information about the weather, news and more.

Television will be on show at the German trade fair when IFA 2018 opens its doors at the brand’s stand on 31 August.
