Samsung announced today an updated version of its Samsung Galaxy Tab A for this year, a renewed mid range tablet with 8″ screen, integrated with 4G connectivity and support for the S-Pen, the company’s pen, including the same pen available for users of Galaxy Note 8 phones.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019 Specifications

In terms of its specifications, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab A comes with a 8″ LCD screen that offers a resolution of 1920×1200 (FullHD). In the interior, there is the SoC Exynos 7904 Octa-Core, which is also included in the mid-range phone Samsung Galaxy M20. It comes with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, which is expandable to 512 GB via microSD cards, and has a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera.

It also has an internal battery of 4,200 mAh, which allows the device to operate autonomously for up to 11 hours and a USB type C port. The list of specifications does not currently include the version of the integrated Android operating system.

In addition, there is no information regarding the price at which it will be sold, except that it will be available in two colour options: grey and black. XDA developers indicate that this device will be launched in Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam and will reach the UK via Carphone Warehouse.
