The new Samsung Galaxy A9 has arrived, a mobile phone with four cameras in the rear, which we’ve seen in some filtered images over the last few days.
This is a midrange screen with 6.3 inch Super AMOLED, FHD+ 2,220 x 1080 resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The processor is a Snapdragon 660 at 2.2GHz, and there are versions with 6 Gigas and 8 Gigas RAM.
The memory is 128 GB large, expandable and the 3,800 mAh battery with quick charge function, but with its four cameras it attracts more attention:
– 24 megapixels f/1.7: normal photos
– 10 Megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens: for the zoom
– 8 megapixels f/2.4 120º: for wide angles
– 5 Megapixel f/2.2 Live Focus (the Bokeh Effect)
Also, there is a 24 megapixel f/2.0 front camera.
The rear four have different functions because while you’re taking classic photos, there’s another wide-angle shot and another offers optical zoom. The fourth is a sensor designed to measure the depth of the bokeh, which is very common on mobile phones with two rear-view cameras.

It will be available in three colors: pink, blue and black, will be available in EU in a few weeks, and its price will be around 600 euros, although it will depend on the operator.
