Find out the Samsung CJG5 Specifications. Samsung has launched its next gaming monitor: the CJG5, which is designed for the upper mid-range with some very interesting features. Let’s go to him.
Samsung CJG5: 1440p, 144Hz and curved VA panel
Samsung CJG5 Specifications
Samsung is very much in love with curved panels and this will be no exception, as it is a monitor that belongs to one of his premium series. The 1,800R VA panel with 1,800R curvature offers an acceptable contrast of 3000:1, a correct number (though not by far the best) for VA panels, but well above the IPS and TN panels, which normally offer 1000:1. In this way, you get quite deep black colors even in low light conditions.
In addition, the panel has a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is called 2K by most users (although 2K actually corresponds to a lower resolution), so that you need a relatively powerful graphics card, especially if you consider the smooth frame rate of 144Hz. It won’t be a cheap monitor or play with cheap hardware…….
A high pixel density or a large size? Samsung offers these two options. The 27-inch size is perfect for those who want to see a few pixels as possible, while the 32-inch version has about the same pixel density per inch as a 24-inch 1080p monitor.
Further details announced are a GtG response time of 4ms, which is not perceptible to the vast majority of users. The input connectors are 2 HDMI, a 2.0 and a 1.4. Samsung doesn’t seem to like the DisplayPort very much, but we would have liked to see it in use. We’re done with 300-nit brightness, acceptable, but far from the star.
The price for this new monitor has not been announced, but this type of solution is often very expensive.
