Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT seen in stores

AMD’s Mattise Refresh line, which includes Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 5 3600XT models, has already been listed by a French retailer. Ryzen 3900XT, 3800XT and 3600XT will be upgraded from their corresponding non-XT models with higher frequencies.

They propose that Ryzen 9 3900 XT costs EUR 499, Ryzen 7 3800XT 459, and Ryzen 5 3600XT 319. The French retailer’s prices are slightly higher than those of other retailers. However, compared to the existing parts, which are also available from the same retailer, it could turn out that the XT series is slightly more expensive than its existing counterparts.

For comparison, the same retailer lists the Ryzen 5 3600X for 269.95 EUR, the Ryzen 7 3800X for 429.95 EUR, and the Ryzen 9 3900X for 514 EUR.

However, one should not worry so much about these prices, as it is common for prices to be inflated before the market launch. According to sources on the Wccftech website, AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT is expected to reach retail at a price of EUR 544.90, Ryzen 7 3800XT is expected to reach a retail price of approximately EUR 435.00, while Ryzen 5 3600XT is expected to reach retail at a price of EUR 217.

The Ryzen 9 3900XT will have 12 cores and 24 threads, the Ryzen 7 3800XT will have 8 cores and 16 threads, while the Ryzen 5 3600XT will have 6 cores and 12 threads. It seems that each processor will get a big push in terms of clock speed to take out the recently released tenth generation Intel Comet Lake CPUs. Bad example: The Ryzen 9 3900XT has a base clock of 4.1 GHz and a rising clock of up to 4.8 GHz. We will keep you up to date.
