RTX 4060 performance tests have been published in 3DMark as well as in some video games and show a performance jump of up to 65% compared to the previous RTX 3060 in the notebook segment.
RTX 4060 is said to be up to 65% faster in notebooks than RTX 3060
Bilibili has published some performance tests with the RTX 4060 that show a big performance jump over the RTX 3060 notebook GPU.
The RTX 4060 GPU uses the AD107 silicon, which has 3072 CUDA cores and about 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus. The clock speed is up to 2370 MHz with a TDP of 35W to 115W. With these specifications, this GPU is designed for mid-range and entry-level gaming notebooks.
For the performance tests, we used the Thunderobot Zero notebook, which is equipped with an i9-13900HX CPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The refresh rate is 240 Hz.
The graphics performance of the 8GB RTX 4060 for the notebook has a 140W configuration and reaches clock speeds above 2.5GHz.
Performance results
In 3DMark Time Spy, the RTX 4060 for notebooks performs 23% better than the RTX 3060, but this is a synthetic test. The interesting part comes in the gaming tests below.
Assassins Creed: Valhalla
In this game, the RTX 4060 is 60% faster than the RTX 3060, 20% faster than the desktop variant of the 3060, and 9% faster than the 3070 Ti and notebooks.
Other tests show that the 4060 is 36% faster than the 3060 in Shadow of the Tomb Raider and 75% faster in CSGO.

Forza Horizon 5 also shows that the Ada Lovelace variant is 65% faster, and in Cyberpunk 2077 the performance gain is 25%. On average across all gaming tests, the difference is 52.2% in favor of the RTX 4060, and that’s at 1080p resolution.
The RTX 4060 notebooks, which are part of the RTX 40 ‘Ada’ series, will be officially unveiled on February 22, with prices starting at $999. We will keep you updated.
