There are rumors over the existence of the RTX 3060 Ti, which should be brought shortly after the RTX 3070 on the market, and details are announced. This would be the first graphics card for the middle class of Nvidia.
Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti will have 512 cores more than the RTX 2080 Ti
According to WhyCry, there is currently no word about the non-Ti version of the 3060, but details about the Ti version are already known. It is expected that the card will have more cores than the RTX 2080 Ti.
The Nvidia GeForce 3060 Ti will be equipped with a GA104-200 graphics processor with 4864 CUDA cores and 8 GB 14 GDDR6 memory. The bus width will be 256 bits with a total bandwidth of 448 GB/s. Since the board requires less power, the PBS should be about 200W, with the reference design registering about 180W. This is an increase from 5W compared to the RTX 2070 to 175W.
AMD is launching its Navi 22 series on October 28th, and this could be one of the reasons why NVIDIA has decided to launch the Ti-based version first. Since there are still 3080 and 3090 cards available, players are obviously hungry to get their hands on a next-generation GPU.
Since the RTX 3070 costs officially 520 euros, it is possible that an RTX 3060 Ti could cost about 400 euros. This price would be competitive and would make it possible for many players to have something on the level of an RTX 2080 or RTX 2080 SUPER for approximately 400 euro.
According to the source, the RTX 3060 Ti will come at the end of October on the market.
