Palit launches a new series of gaming products called “White GameRock Premium”. The first product will be the RTX 2080 Super graphics card with RGB LED and custom cooling.
The RTX 2080 Super White GameRock Premium (WGRP) works with a frequency of 1650MHz and a boost clock of 1860MHz. The 2080 SUPER WGRP has two BIOS settings to adjust these speeds. One is a standard BIOS, the other is for configuring OC.
In terms of screen output, this card has three DisplayPorts 1.4a and one HDMI 2.0b port. In addition, a Type C USB port is becoming the new and convenient standard of connectivity for the latest graphics cards we see.
What type of cooling system does the Palit RTX 2080 Super White GameRock Premium use?
To ensure sufficient cooling, the Palit RTX 2080 Super WGRP uses five copper cooling tubes in its heat sink. The graphics card occupies almost three thick slots.
This heat sink is actively cooled by two TurboFan 2.0 fans. These are smaller than typical 4-pole motor fans, so the fan blades are larger. It also consumes less energy and turns smoother and longer than other fan types.
Below the cooler is a 10+2 phase PWM DrMOS PWM. This gives the graphics processor a lot of overclocking power and is much more efficient than the reference power supply systems.
The GeForce RTX 2080 Super WGRP has RGB LEDs both on the cover and on the back. The Game Rock logo is also illuminated on the side, although the fan itself is not illuminated. For more information, please visit the official product page.
