The developer HandMade Game has released its Knobler Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle for PlayStation VR after versions for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Where do we buy the game and are there exclusive content or differences to the other versions?

In our test, we liked Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift especially because of its great staging and the exciting story. Now the puzzler is also available for PlayStation VR owners.

Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle: Rescue from the Nobel Prison

The background story of Rooms: We help little Anne with various gadgets to escape from a villa with puzzle-like rooms. The game comprises a total of 144 stages. 96 floors are part of the main story and the 48 basement floors offer us an additional challenge.

Audiovisually, Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle appeals mainly through its puppet house production and the catchy music. Two different end sequences provide a replay value. There is no new exclusive content on PlayStation VR.

Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle is available for 14.49 Euros at PlayStation Store. The soundtrack is optionally available for an additional 1.19 euros in digital form on top. Nothing is currently known about ports to other VR headsets, such as Windows Mixed Reality.

Salary Man Escape, a satirical puzzler for PlayStation VR, was released on June 26. Alternatively, it is certainly worth keeping an eye on the somewhat different VR puzzler Blind. Red Matter also offers high-quality puzzling fun and an exciting story.
