Razer Sila, Gaming router to cope with wireless latencies

Every player knows that the wired connection to the network is better than a Wifi for gaming because of the higher latency of wireless networks. Razer Sila is a new gaming router that eliminates this disadvantage of Wifi networks.

Razer has decided to address the problem of delay with a very powerful new Wifi router, the Razer Sila. Sila has a variety of patented technologies to increase reliability and speed, such as Razer FasTrack, a patented QoS engine for intelligent traffic management.

Razer uses deep packet inspection and adaptive learning to prioritize traffic by application and device type. FasTrack is designed to instantly detect what access is requested and what kind of optimization needs to be performed to make everything work on your network. The application allows you to activate a one-touch game mode that automatically reserves bandwidth for online games.

Like most modern routers, Razer addresses network traffic and delay with its own patented technology: Multi-Channel Zero-Wait DFS. The Razer Sila will cover an area of up to 3,000 square meters, meaning that its 9 internal antennas will operate at full power. If that’s not enough, you can connect two or more razor blade Sila to cover up to 9,000 feet. The Razer Sila features a dedicated 5 GHz band and independent Front Hole connections that operate on up to 4 simultaneous DFS channels to reduce interference and network congestion.

Razer Sila is sold for around 249 Euros, making it difficult for users to access multiple devices to perfect the house’s Wifi coverage.
