Razer announces new versions of its Hammerhead, USB Type C and iOS Mercury Edition headphones

Razer today announced two new versions of its In-Ear Hammerhead headphones, a Type C USB version for all those devices that have begun to dispense with the 3.5mm jack and an iOS Mercury Edition version for iPhone.

Both versions of the headphones come with the original design with neodymium drivers of 10mm with a response frequency of 20 Hz – 20kHz. While the omnidirectional microphone included in the cable has a response of 100 Hz – 10,000 Hz. Also, USB Type C consists of a custom DAC to provide raw audio. But the iOS version uses direct sound from its proprietary lightning connector also to offer natural sound.

Both models have volume control in the cable itself, which has flat design to avoid tangles. Also, that comes with the green color characteristic Razer for the USB version Type C. While the iOS version Mercury opts for a color White Apple in the entire headset.

The new Type C USB version of the Razer Hammerhead is launched with a suggested retail price of € 69.95. While the iOS Mercury Edition version rises to € 99.95.
