AMD releases a photo revealing the design of its upcoming Radeon RX 6000. We don’t have the exact reference, but the beauty is probably the flagship model of this new generation.
We’ll find a solution to make sure that the finished model mixes more colors. It has a cooling system based on three fans. This is not the first time since the Radeon VII was equipped with this type of solution. AMD does not give any information about the technical aspect. We only know that the architecture of RDNA 2 will be in the spotlight.
Radeon RX 6000 series, some information
The card will be available in a double-slot format. It measures about 30 cm and is equipped with an aluminum cooling system that takes up the entire surface of the circuit board. The card has two 8-pin PCIe power inputs where you expect them. Power is supplied via a PCIe bus 4.0 x16 and two 8-pin PCIe connectors. On the connector side, we find DisplayPorts, one HDMI, and one USB-C type.
The manufacturer suggests an analogy to discover this solution in a popular game. A collaboration with Epic Games made it possible to propose a 3D model of the beauties in the Fortnite game. AMD will introduce the next generation of Radeon graphics cards on October 28 at 18:00 (Paris time).
