PowerColor addresses the needs of Mini-PC games with the introduction of a Radeon RX 5700 in Mini-ITX format. The card is compact and fits into an environment where space is at a premium.
The Mini-ITX format is not a great source of inspiration for graphics card manufacturers. However, it does place considerable demands on adequate cooling and low noise. We are also in a niche market, as the ATX format dominates the PC gaming market.
With the announcement of the Radeon RX 5700 ITX, PowerColor is meeting this challenge. As the name suggests, we are in a format that is geared towards mini-ITX platforms. The card is supplied with a length of 175 mm. However, due to its cooling system, it requires a double slot to accommodate it.
Radeon RX 5700 ITX, the details
It only depends on one fan. Its task is to force the air through an aluminum radiator, through which several heat pipes of 6 mm diameter run. The system is able to offer a fanless mode. In other words: If the GPU temperature does not exceed a certain threshold, the fan remains off. In this case, the card becomes completely inaudible.

The beauty comes with a Navi 10 GPU calibrated to the frequencies recommended by AMD. There are 2304 flow processors that run at 1465 MHz base against 1625 MHz in game mode and 1725 MHz in boost mode. The set comes with 8 GB GDDR6 calibrated at 1750 MHz, running on a 256-bit memory bus. On the device side, we have two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, an HDMI 2.0b output and a single 8-pin PCIe power connector.
PowerColor announces a solution that usually fits into SFF or mini-ITX enclosures. There is no price information available.
