Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 to power up with Adreno 660 and 5G

According to a new report, Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset will be called Snapdragon 875. The upcoming Qualcomm SoC will support both the mmWave and 6GHz bands and will likely feature an upgraded Snapdragon X60 5G modem that will be seen on the Android flagships of 2021.

To be launched in December

At the heart of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 is the Adreno 660 GPU and the Spectra 580 ISP with the special cryo 685 core. The predecessor of the Snapdragon 865 7 nm process, the Snapdragon 875 resists 5 nm, which is to be produced by the manufacturing process. Although not much is known about the core clock speed or architecture, the transition from 7 nm to 5 nm may be an indication that the Snapdragon 875 will be more energy efficient.
