PowerColor is manufacturing an RX VEGA Nano

As with the Radeon RX 400 and 500 series, it appears that PowerColor is preparing a Nano variant for the VEGA RX series. This is something that will attract the attention of many PC users who want the full power of VEGA in a small format, certainly for ultra-compact computers.

Although based on the AMD reference design, this PowerColor model differs slightly from the Vega Nano RX prototype that was presented at SIGGRAPH 2017 by Chris Hook. In terms of design, the PowerColor prototype lacks the illuminated Radeon hub in the corner, and the axial fan is further to the left.

The heatsink is physically longer and extends slightly beyond the PCB on the graphics card, as shown in the images. The manufacturer also added a 6-pin power connector to ensure more power to the graphics card, so we don’t expect this model to consume too much less power than its older brothers. At the time of publication of this article, PowerColor has not confirmed that its Radeon RX Vega Nano will be available to the public. We can also not know exactly which model it is, whether it is a VEGA 64 or 56 RX.
