The PlayStation 5 is about to kick off with a big surprise. Apparently, the PS5 Pro will also be part of the version.
It is already known that the legendary Xbox Scarlett will appear in different versions. But now it seems that the PlayStation 5 is not Sony’s only star product. Several sources have already reported on the PS5 Pro, the second and best version of the new top console.

PS5 and PS5 Pro to start at the same time

The launch date, the look and also the price of the new generation of consoles from the depths of the Japanese think tank Sony are currently protected with all the power since its publication. However, it happens again and again that the very small information leaks to the public and causes confusion. Zenji Nishikawa, a Japanese technology journalist, claims to have discovered something that changes everything: there is supposed to be a PS5 Pro.

According to IGN Germany, at the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference (CEDEC) in Yokohama, Nishikawa claims to have collected some word fragments that might be of interest to PlayStation fans. As a result, Sony plans to launch two devices with the new generation of consoles, which will differ mainly in their performance.

The reason is very simple: The more expensive PS5 Pro is primarily intended as a high-end device for professional and expert players. Therefore, it can be assumed that, although it will share the essential aspects of the normal version, such as compatibility with the downstream version, ray tracing and the like, it will eclipse it in terms of performance and efficiency.

Nishikawa wants to have experienced in the context of the CEDEC developer conference that Sony wants to offer the PS5 immediately to market launch in two variants. Specifically, it talks about a normal PlayStation 5 and a more powerful PS5 Pro. With the PlayStation 4, it took the Japanese several years to introduce the Pro version. But the statement doesn’t sound completely absurd.

PlayStation 5: Sony is silent

Although the Japanese manufacturer apparently did everything possible in the past to avoid information about the new generation in advance, patent images have already appeared that make the PS5 launch even closer. However, when PS5 is actually launched, it is only known that the launch will take place in mid-2020. We will keep you informed.

If the rumor is confirmed, customers would have the option to choose which version. The normal and affordable PS5, whose performance should be sufficient for at least 90 percent of all console players, or the Pro version, which is more expensive, but which should also offer unprecedented performance in the console segment.
