More and more people have two monitors on their desk. But the alternative that some manufacturers are proposing is to merge two 1080p monitors into a single panel. Philips came to the IFA with one of these monitors under the arm. The 492P8, and includes a VA panel with curvature 1800 R, and on a stand that is easy to put another equal above it.
These monitors are more oriented to the professional sector, in which the saving of space can be highly beneficial. The panel has a brightness of up to 600 nits, a static contrast 5000: 1, has a USB type C input – video plus data – VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort, two USB 3.0 and an Ethernet.

The price of the monitor will be 899 euros when it goes on sale in the second quarter of 2018.
