The media company Realwire has published an article about the Toughbook A3 tablet from Panasonic. This week, Panasonic has added a new model to its tablet portfolio. It is a durable device designed for use in production, emergency services, field service, shipping or logistics. This product supports IP65 water and dust resistance and is MIL-STD-810H certified for extreme durability. And it comes with a Panasonic compass kit for enterprise management tools. Compared to its predecessor, the Toughbook A3 tablet is more rugged, more powerful, and will work for longer hours in the field!
The Toughbook A3 is considered ideal for emergency service personnel, utilities and field staff, transport and logistics professionals and people working in the automotive industry.
The Panasonic Toughbook A3 tablet comes with a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with a peak brightness of 800 nits. Designed so that the screen is easy for the user to see in any light and weather conditions.
At the front of the configuration it is powered by a Snapdragon 660 chip (1.8 GHz-2.2 GHz). 4 GB RAM, 64 GB memory, expandable via a microSD slot.
The tablet comes with two batteries that can be replaced if necessary. The two batteries have a capacity of 3200 mAh with a single battery and can last up to 8 hours on a single charge. Panasonic also offers the option to upgrade it to a 5500 mAh battery, which can increase the usage time to 15 hours. It is expected that the Panasonic Toughbook A3 will be available from August.
