Optoma introduces the new 4K Ultra HD home cinema projector UHD51 with PureMotion intermediate image calculation and FULL 3D support. The model features a newly developed 4K precision lens and works with an RGBRGB color wheel.

The UHD51 features High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatibility, HDCP 2.2 support and a built-in speaker. With the vertical lens shift and a variety of connection options, installation is stress-free. At the same time, its 2,400 lumens should throw bright images onto the screen even in daylight. The beamer reaches a dynamic contrast of 500 000:1 according to the data sheet.
With the PureMotion intermediate image calculation, image jerking and blurring is avoided in high-speed action films or fast sports shots. An RGBRGB color wheel delivers accurate and lifelike colors.
With 8.3 million on-screen pixels, the UHD51 meets the requirements of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) for 4K UHD and the CTA High Dynamic Range (HDR) display standards. 2x HDMI (HDCP 2.2) and VGA connections are available.
It features Optomas Amazing Colour Technology, with an advanced color wheel and a choice of modes and settings. The “Reference” mode delivers accurate images that are 100% compliant with the Rec.709 standard. For the sound two 5 watt speakers are available. According to the manufacturer, the lamp life in Eco mode is 10,000 hours.
The UHD51 is now available at a retail price of EUR 1,699.
