At the moment Microsoft Office 365 is experiencing problems in Europe. Some users report problems logging into their accounts. No more services like Outlook, Skype and OneDrive are available.
Office 365, Outlook, Skype and OneDrive services are out of service
For the time being, Microsoft has not made any official statement. DownDetector indicates that several European countries are affected by failures. This concerns, for example, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, France and Italy. The strangest thing, however, is that according to the “health page” of the Office 365 service “everything is operational”.
While some reports indicate that Exchange is working properly and only web access appears to be faulty, others report problems connecting to Skype with denied passwords. In other cases, Outlook allows you to send mail but not receive it. It is also reported that attempts to access Office 365 mailboxes fail with error AADSTS90033 and a message saying “The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later”.
Office 365, Microsoft is informed of the situation
While no official statement was made, Microsoft would be informed of the situation.
“The diagnostic data are analyzed to isolate the root cause and identify steps to correct the problem. This problem could affect any of your users if they are routed through the affected infrastructure.
In addition to all this, reports indicate that the Azure portal is out of service and therefore Office 365 is affected by a breakdown. This is not the first time that Office 365 has malfunctioned in Europe. Many reactions on the forums speak of connection failures and an “inconsistent experience”.
