New rumors suggest that NVIDIA might launch RTX 3090 SUPER graphics cards in early 2022. According to rumors, these (and other) graphics cards could hit the market in January, which means they could be unveiled at CES 2022.
NVIDIA could launch the RTX 3090 SUPER, RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 2060 12GB in January 2022
According to various rumors, NVIDIA is finalizing the upcoming launch of RTX 30 SUPER graphics cards. The so-called SUPER graphics cards are an upgrade from the “regular” models. They usually feature more CUDA cores, higher frequencies and more VRAM memory.
Twitter user “hongxing2020” is talking about several new graphics card launches in January 2022. According to him, the RTX 3090 SUPER, the RTX 3070 Ti with 16GB GDDR6X, and the RTX 2060 with 12GB GDDR6X could hit the market. Of course, the RTX 2060 12GB graphics card, which features a Turing GPU and double the amount of VRAM memory, is drawing a lot of attention.
While the Turing architecture graphics card is the most noticeable, it’s not the only one that catches the eye. Until now, we didn’t have any information about a 16GB GDDR6X RTX 3070 Ti. We should note that this graphics card will have a larger amount of VRAM memory than the RTX 3080 currently has. This also leaves open the possibility that there could be an RTX 3060 graphics card with 12GB of VRAM memory.
Given this leaked information, it is possible that more RTX 30 SUPER models could be released at a later date. There is a possibility that we won’t see RTX 3080 SUPER and RTX 3070 SUPER since RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti were released recently.
A few days ago, the Twitter user “kopite7kimi”, who is a reputable leaker, revealed more information. He talked about the NVIDIA RTX 3090 SUPER, RTX 3080 SUPER, RTX 3070 SUPER, and RTX 3060 SUPER. These upgraded graphics cards also mean that we have to say goodbye to the 8GB VRAM models.
Intel is expected to finally unveil the Alder Lake S processors later this month. The curious thing is that the company will only launch the Core-K and Core-KF models. According to rumors, the other models as well as the notebook variant could be unveiled at CES 2022. The presentation of Intel Xe graphics cards that are supposed to be able to compete with NVIDIA graphics cards is also expected.
The Las Vegas event will also see new products from AMD, although it’s not clear if they will finally unveil new processors. The prediction is that they will show the Ryzen 6000, but there is only leaked information about it.
In addition, we will see a lot of new motherboards and new DDR5 RAM modules for Intel’s processors. So it looks like a pretty interesting event as far as new products go, and NVIDIA will be there as well. If the company has anything in the pipeline, it will likely be revealed at the Las Vegas event.
