Apparently, the game crashes with the latest GeForce 398.86 beta drivers, now Nvidia seems to have the problem `under control’ with the latest GeForce 398.98 hotfix drivers. These drivers also fix a problem with annoying cracks on some computers trying to run Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Beta.

Hotfix versions are not WHQL certified and are released to fix one or two major bugs that require immediate attention from NVIDIA. So if you already have one of the latest drivers installed and have no problems, upgrading to this version is not recommended. If you are not playing both games, you will prefer to skip the driver update, as the changelog does not show any further changes.

By the way, these drivers still have the improvements and additions that were already released with the 398.86 beta driver about a week ago, useful for Windows 10 users who want to run their games in windowed mode and G-SYNC. Apparently, the update of Windows 10 Abril Update caused this problem, which was fixed by these drivers. You can download the drivers from the Nvidia support page.
