NVIDIA is planning a new GTX 1050 Ti Max Q to deal with the AMD RX Vega M GL GPUs

The arrival of the new Kaby Lake processors with AMD RX Vega M GPU has made NVIDIA worry a bit about its future in entry-level gaming laptops. Therefore, it seems that NVIDIA plans a new GPU for notebooks with the same orientation of low consumption and good power. So, giving life to what will be the new GTX 1050 Ti Max Q. That has recently been sighted in the latest drivers of the company.

Like other Max Q models, this new GTX 1050 Ti is expected to arrive with much more frequencies. That comes in an environment below 1500 Mhz. Of course, this implies a lower performance but also suggests lower consumption and better temperatures. Also, it is something that we saw with the arrival of the GTX 1070 Max Q. Also, that allows you to install in much more beautiful equipment, just as MSI did in its day.

Personally, I have never been convinced by the Max Q design. Since in many cases we ended up paying more for the same low-frequency GPU. Obviously, if we choose a laptop with a GTX 1070. And we do not want it to perform like a GTX 1060 and imagine that the future buyers of the GTX 1050 Ti Max Q will see their results very. That is far from the laptops with regular GTX 1050 Ti having paid the same or more.
