According to new rumors, Nvidia is preparing two new graphics for the GTX 16 line: A GTX 1650 Ti to close the gap between the GTX 1650 and the GTX 1660, and a GTX 1660 Super that extends the term Super to the GTX 16 line.
On the GTX 1650 Ti side, it will have 1024 or 1152 Cuda cores, closing the gap between the GTX 1650 of 896 Cudas and the GTX 1660 of 1408 Cudas. On the VRAM it would have 4GB GDDR5 of 8Gbps and thus a bus of 128 bit.
NVIDIA would be preparing the GTX 1660 SUPER and a GTX 1650 Ti: completing the low range
In contrast to the GTX 1660 SUPER, the uncertainty about its characteristics is much greater. The filtration says that the number of shaders could be increased up to 1,024 (16 SM) or even up to 1,152 (18 SM), but no longer where 128 bits would be stored for the GDDR5 memory and where two models could arrive depending on capacity: 4 GB or 8 GB.
The other new GPU would be the GTX 1660 Super. It retains the same 1408 Cuda cores, although it replaces its 8Gbps GDDR5 memory with 12Gbps GDDR6 and increases its bandwidth by 50%, from 192GB/s to 288GB/s. The filtration confirms that this is a work that completes the range, since between the GTX 1660 Ti and the GTX 1660 are between 13 and 15% power, so we could estimate that this new GTX 1660 SUPER would be placed right in the middle of that difference.
Both are expected to arrive in October to compete with AMD’s Radeon RX 5600 line, which will be released shortly thereafter. No price information was provided.
