NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 will remain out of stock until March 2021

Back in September, NVIDIA confirmed that it was aware of the shortage of its new GeForce RTX 30 series and stated that it would do its best to supply stores as quickly as possible. Now it seems that this problem will continue until 2021, at least for the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, which were the first to arrive.

We have recently seen the potential warehousing problem that AMD is suffering from with its new Ryzen 5000 and next-generation Radeon RX 6000 consoles. But the one who is most aware of this inventory shortage is NVIDIA, which still has plenty of time to replenish its shelves with the GeForce RTX 30.

But of course, we must not forget the GeForce RTX 3070, which was launched a week ago and suffered the same fate. Now a new leak gives us a little more details, giving us a concrete date when the stock of the new NVIDIA family will start to improve: March. This means that in many places we have to wait about 5 months until we can find an RTX 30 relatively easily.

This reflects the saturation of TSMC’s factories over the last few months. With the arrival of NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, Ryzen 5000 processors, and the next generation of PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S series consoles, all new products were in stock until next year.
