Nvidia has released HOTFIX drivers (GeForce 461.33) to tackle a number of issues, including graphics problems with virtual reality glasses in SteamVR.
Nvidia GeForce 461.33 fixes stuttering issues with SteamVR
The GeForce 461.33 “Game Ready” drivers resolve some issues with Nvidia graphics cards that users have been complaining about for some time.
One of the problems that are solved with these drivers is the virtual reality problem. Apparently, the previous drivers caused a stuttering problem with SteamVR and any Nvidia GeForce graphics.
There were also specific issues with some video games like Detroit Become Human or Assassins Creed Valhalla. Below is a list of the best ones with these new drivers.
The HOTFIX addresses the following issues:
- Adobe Premiere Pro can be reviewed with the GPU-accelerated Mercury Playback Engine (CUDA) [3230997/200686504].
- NVIDIA Broadcast Camera Filter can be hung. [200691869]
- Steam VR Game]: Stutters and loops may occur when running a game (without using hardware control tools). [3152190]
- [Detroit: Become Human]: The game crashes at startup. [3203114]
- The colors of the webcam video image on the receiving side of the zoom may appear incorrect.
- [Assassins Creed: Valhalla] The game may randomly fail after a long game session [679654].
- X4: Foundations] [Vulkan]: The game may crash on GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. [3220107]
