NVIDIA has confirmed that the GTX 1060 will soon lower its price and thus fall within the 180 euro range. This puts it below the GTX 1660 (non-Ti), which would cost 230 dollars and offer a little more performance.

This week prices have already seen a decline in European business, but now NVIDIA confirms these price declines, a drop of 10% to around 180 euros, according to people in Kototau.

We can imagine that prices for the 1060 will continue to fall as NVIDIA has to leave room for the GTX 1660, which will arrive soon (15 March). NVIDIA must also dispose of the GTX 1060 stock to make room for the next generation.

The table above shows that the price of the GTX 1060 in Europe has fallen by 35% since October last year, and it looks as if it will continue to fall. For those planning to equip their computers with a mid-range graphics card, this could be a very good option, based on value for money.

In the meantime, we expect the GTX 1660 to be officially launched on 15 March and the GTX 1650 on 30 April at a price of 179.99 dollars. We will keep you informed.
