Nokia 6.1 Plus appears on Geekbench days before the official release

After HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 in China, many people were disappointed to see that the phone will not leave Chinese territory, but in a turn of events, the Nokia 6.1 was announced for the international market with the launch date very close to now (“rumor says”), July 19.

Nokia 6.1 Plus would be released on July 19

Nokia 6.1 would be about to launch and today we can see some performance tests on Geekbench to see how this new Nokia phone behaves.

The Nokia 6.1 is a phone with a 5.5-inch FullHD screen and a 16-megapixel main camera. The phone will have the power of a Snapdragon 630 SoC chip accompanied by 4GB of RAM, although there is another model with 6GB of slightly more expensive memory. The storage capacity can be 32 or 64 GB. Android 8.1 Oreo could not be missing in this phone that will have to assault with force the mid-range, where there is an extreme competition.

The score is 1332 points for single-core and 4903 points for multi-core, within the expected range for the chip you are using. While the Geekbench scorecard lists 4GB of RAM, we believe the 6GB model will also leave China. Let’s hope the July 19 launch is not just another rumor, but a real launch date, when we will finally see the phone come out of the Asian market.
