Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are the three new smartphones that HMD Global boasted at a special conference. Phones will arrive in the shops in a few weeks, and in the meantime, we can already see their prices or technical specifications. New Nokia smartphones are lower priced models, but they have already been announced to be upgraded to Android P.
Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are presented. Even better than predecessors
Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 join the HMD Global portfolio. The phone prices are 115 dollars, 139 euros, and 189 euros respectively. Sales of Nokia 2.1 and 5.1 are expected to start in July. Nokia 3, on the other hand, will appear a little faster, as early as in June this year. The manufacturer has already announced that all three models will get Android P.
Nokia 2.1 is a cheap smartphone with Android Go. It has only 1 GB of RAM and quite a basic specification. It consists of a 5.5-inch HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and only 8GB of data space. However, it is worth noting that the battery capacity of 4100 mAh will certainly ensure a long battery life.
The Nokia 3.1 is a typical average that already has an 18:9 aspect ratio screen, using a 5.2-inch HD+ resolution panel. There is also a MediaTek MT6750N processor and a 2990 mAh battery. This model will be available with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of data space, or 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of data space, depending on your region of distribution. The whole thing works under the control of Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Nokia 5.1 is also a mid-market smartphone and is definitely the most interesting model of the three presented. There is a 5.5-inch Full HD+ screen, MediaTek Helio P18 processor and 8 and 16 Mpx cameras on board. There is also a fingerprint reader in this model, which is not present in other models. Power will be provided by a 3000 mAh battery.
We still have to wait for the new HMD Global smartphones. Their premiere, however, will make other Nokia’s prices fall.
