The recent revelations suggest that Samsung is working on a new, truly wireless headset – the Galaxy Buds Sound. It’s only been two months since Galaxy Buds Live was officially released, and the real wireless headphones are working better than expected.
Samsung’s next real wireless headset could be the Galaxy Buds Sound
The Galaxy Buds sound may be in pre-production, so don’t worry if you’ve recently purchased a headphone product from Samsung.
Samsung has filed a trademark application with the UK Intellectual Property Office to develop the Buds Sound. However, it is possible that the name is just a placeholder, or that Samsung is trying to publish something that provides a better sound.
As the application falls under category 9 products, it covers many product contents, including VR headsets, televisions, printers, and wireless headsets. It is also uncertain whether the trademark is related to Samsung’s publication of the “Galaxy Buds Sound”.
As you can see from the description, the Buds Sound will be a wireless headset that can also be used for fitness. The headset will be equipped with a fitness guide and software to measure distance, time, heart rate changes, and calorie consumption. The brand name “Galaxy” does not appear in the trademark, but as is usual for Samsung, the trademark has been applied for but not yet published.
At the Unpacked Launch event a month and a half ago, Samsung introduced a wireless Bluetooth headset, the Galaxy Buds Live, in addition to the Galaxy Note 20 series, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
