DeepCool Maelstrom 240 RGB is a new liquid-cooled CPU heatsink, an AIO model, which means that it comes pre-installed and ready to install on your PC. What distinguishes this heatsink from the company’s other AIO models is support for motherboard-based control standards, such as ASUS Aura Sync RGB, ASRock Polychrome RGB, MSI Mystic Light RGB and GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, which gives the user control over their motherboard.

The Maelstrom DeepCool Maelstrom 240 RGB heatsink features a pair of high-quality 120mm fans and RGB LED illumination for the best aesthetics, these fans are connected to the 4-pin RGB LED head on the motherboard to provide control via the applications listed above. The fans are mounted on a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator, with which a large heat exchange area is achieved thanks to its optimised design. The included fans rotate between 500 and 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 69.34 CFM of air with a noise level between 17.8-30 CFM.

The CPU block has a copper base with a pump based on ceramic bearings, which offer great durability and low friction. This heatsink is compatible with most current platforms, including LGA 2066, LGA2011 (v3), LGA115x, AM4, AM3 (+) and FM2 (+). The price has not yet been announced.
