New Apple Mac Pro 2017. Apple has updated its professional desktop Mac “Apple Mac Pro” on April 4 (US time). That equips with the quad-core model and the six-core model lineups. However the company ensures the price remains unchanged. So offering the low-level model that is now the 6-core model and the advance model comes with the 8-cores. Also the system GPU in Apple Mac Pro is more better than before. In Apple ‘s online store, sales have begun for new models.

New Apple Mac Pro 6 core model

The lower model is 2700 US Dollars in standard configuration. The on-board processor is a 6-core Intel Xeon E5 (12 MB L3 cache). It comes with DDR3 ECC which previously has 12GB memory. Now it has become 16GB in this newer version. Also the GPU is upgraded from the dual AMD FirePro D300 to the dual AMD FirePro D500.

The more advance model is 3605 US Dollars in standard configuration. The on-board processor is the 8-core Intel Xeon E5 (25 MB L3 cache). GPU, dual AMD FirePro D700. So far now it comes with dual AMD FirePro D500.

The Apple Mac Pro features a new design in which the hole in the cylinder acts as a thermal core and performs a cooling mechanism. It also has external expansion by Thunderbolt 2. So providing a compact size and quiet operation for professionals.

After its first announcement in 2013, it gains attention because of its unique design. But since the release it did not get any update of Apple Mac Pro. So it was also expected that Apple could withdraw from desktop PC for professionals.
