MSI RTX 4060, new black and ARGB-free GPUs unveiled
The two RTX 4060 graphics cards presented by MSI are the Gaming and Ventus 2X Black variants with their corresponding OC models. In both cases, these variants are characterized by having two fans for cooling and lacking any type of ARGB lighting.
MSI was one of the manufacturers that had not yet shown their models for the upcoming RTX 4060, until now. All four models can be seen on MSI’s official website.
The manufacturer chooses a black color for the entire graphics card, except for the logo on the back and on the fan.
The Gaming model runs at clocks up to 2475 MHz, while the Gaming X model runs at speeds up to 2610 MHz. Meanwhile, the Ventus 2X Black and Ventus 2X Black OC models reach speeds of 2475 MHz and 2505 MHz, respectively. The latter is a ‘small’ 20 cm graphics card, which falls short of ITX, but is close.
Nvidia’s RTX 4060 graphics card is to be released on June 29. This model uses the AD107 GPU with some 3840 CUDA cores. In addition, it has about 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus and a bandwidth reaching 288 GB/s.
Nvidia has decided to launch this graphics card with a price of 329 euros in Europe and for $299 in the US market. This will be one of the most important launches of the RTX 40 series, as it targets the mid-range, where there are higher sales in terms of volume.
