Moto G8 Power Lite: the 5,000 mAh super battery now for less than 200 euros

After a leak, Motorola today officially introduced the Moto G8 Power Lite mobile phone with a “huge” 5000 mAh battery.

According to PhoneArena, Motorola has achieved great success with the Moto G7 Power last year. With a 5000 mAh battery and HD + display, the phone can work 3 days after charging, according to the manufacturer.

Earlier this year Motorola introduced the Moto G Power. This model also has a 5000 mAh battery, but the specifications have been improved. The phone has a 6.4-inch screen with FHD + resolution (1080 x 2300 pixels), 4 GB RAM and 64 GB memory. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset with a camera system consisting of 16 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2 MP macro camera. Additionally, there is a 16 MP perforated selfie camera on the front side. Devices with Android 10.

With a higher resolution screen, the Moto G Power does not offer the same battery life as the Moto G7 Power. That’s why Motorola today introduced the Moto G8 Power Lite with a 6.5-inch LCD screen, HD + resolution (20:9 aspect ratio). The same 5000 mAh battery, but for sure the Moto G8 Power Lite will offer a better battery life than the more expensive Moto G Power. Motorola has once again confirmed that the G8 Power Lite will work for 3 days on a single charge.

Moto G8 Power Lite uses the MediaTek P35 chip with 8 cores clocked at 2.3GHz (with Cortex A53 CPU) and the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. On the back of the phone is still a 3-camera system consisting of a 16 MP main sensor with fast focus, a macro camera for shooting from 2.5 cm distance and a depth sensor. On the front of the phone, there is a recess that houses an 8 MP selfie camera.
