Microsoft VR goggles announced in Build 2017 conference. During the conference, Build 2017 Microsoft showed some early vegetables on its platform to mixed reality, or Windows Mixed Reality. By the way goggles technical specifications are revealed for Acer and HP. Here Microsoft also showed new VR controllers that resemble little Oculus and HTC devices in one.

Both goggles are from Acer and HP and both contains the two liquid crystal display generating image of resolution 1440 1440 pixels. Displays also have a 95-degree angle , and native refreshing rate at 90 Hz. Both appliances also support audio through the 3.5mm jack cable HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0. Which connect them to the computer. Acer goggles with a package of controllers will cost 399 US dollars.
What is the difference? Very few details. The Acer goggles cables are pinned on a permanent basis. While the HP equipment allows detaching the cable and replace it a little shorter. HP also has a better band, with which you can better adapt equipment to the head. Microsoft also announced hardware requirements for developers – it’s Core i7 / Ryzen 7, Nvidia 1060 GTX / Radeon RX 480, 16 GB of RAM and at least 10GB of disk space. Version consumer is certainly lower.

Microsoft also showed their controllers VR equipment. They look like a combination of technologies known from the Oculus and the HTC Touch Vive. They have optical tracking and feature triggers, analog sticks and buttons package. Controllers are added to the Acer hardware. The equipment is available for now only in the United States and Canada. It is not known when they will hit the European markets.
