Microsoft Surface Earbuds Wireless In-Ear Headphones Coming Soon

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has certified the Microsoft Surface Earbuds as fully wireless, submersible types: This means that the new product will soon be on the commercial market.

The Redmond giant announced the Surface Earbuds in early October last year. The kit includes independent in-ear modules for the left and right ear and a charging case. The claimed battery life with one battery charge reaches eight hours. The case enables this figure to be increased to 24 hours.

The range of frequencies reproduced extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Each headset is equipped with two microphones; work with intelligent voice assistants is supported. Control is via the touch surface on the outside of the modules.
It was originally expected that the new product would be launched at the end of 2019. It was later announced that the market launch was postponed to spring 2020: Microsoft needed longer to complete the product. There were rumors that there were difficulties in implementing certain features.

And now the information from the headphones will be published on the FCC website. Apparently the sale of the Surface Earbuds will start at the end of this month or in May. The price is about 250 US $. The novelty will be offered in one color option only – white.
