Last year LG launched in the United States one of the most economical Android terminals on the market. It was called LG Aristo and, as you can imagine, it was a very central terminal. Now the company has announced the launch of its successor. The new LG Aristo 2 features a 5-inch screen, quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a main 13-megapixel camera. Some features that are not bad if we take into account that its price is 60 dollars, about 50 euros to change.
The LG Aristo 2 comes to the North American market to replace its predecessor. Its design is straightforward, with a plastic back shell and rounded finishes. But the most surprising thing is that in its back we see a fingerprint reader. Also, the terminal has facial recognition, something unusual in mobile of such low price.
In the front, we have the screen. That, of course, has a classic design. That is, we have a superior frame and a lower one of considerable size. The panel is IPS, has a scale of 5 inches and an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
Inside the LG Aristo 2, we find a quad-core processor with a maximum speed of up to 1.4 GHz. Accompanying this chip we have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. This capacity can be extended by a microSD card of up to 32 GB.
The photographic section is responsible for a primary camera with 13 megapixels of resolution. That has automatic focus system and LED flash. Besides, it is capable of recording video with Full HD resolution. On the other hand, we have a camera for selfies with a 5-megapixel sensor. That comes with automatic trigger system and gestures.
Finally, the LG Aristo 2 equips a battery of 2,140 milliamps. It is not a very large capacity, but with the hardware that has autonomy, it should be decent. According to the manufacturer, the terminal can hold up to 17 hours of conversation. As you can imagine, the connector to charge it is a micro USB.
In short, the LG Aristo 2 has some shocking features for its price. It is already on sale in some North American distributors with a cost of 60 dollars, about 50 euros. At the moment we do not know if it will reach Europe.
