Lenovo Miix 720: A Microsoft Surface Pro Competitor
The upcoming CES 2017 is set to unveil a host of innovative gadgets, and one of the most anticipated reveals is Lenovo’s Miix 720. Lenovo isn’t holding back on the excitement and has already shared its product specifications, building anticipation for a tablet that could rival the Microsoft Surface Pro.
Lenovo has released hardware specifications and pricing for the Miix 720. Currently, they have unveiled two hardware configurations. The Miix 720, featuring an Intel Core i5-7200U processor and a 512 GB SSD, is expected to cost around 39,900 Taiwanese dollars. Meanwhile, the model with an Intel Core i7-7500U and a 1 TB SSD is priced at 54,990 Taiwanese dollars.

The Miix 720 boasts a 12-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, featuring a brightness of 400 nits and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. A digitizer pen is included, designed to work seamlessly with a stylus. Under the hood, this tablet is powered by Intel’s Kaby Lake technology, supporting up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. For data processing and storage, the Miix 720 comes with an impressive 1 TB SSD.
