Lenovo has announced the launch of three new Chromebooks aimed at the education sector. These are very simple and inexpensive computers, which include the Google operating system. However, Lenovo’s new equipment adds extra functionality, since it is convertible equipment. Of the three models, the most balanced is the Lenovo 300e. This convertible features an 11.6-inch touchscreen, a MediaTek MTK 8173C prospector, 4 GB of RAM and functional connectivity. The Lenovo 300e will launch next February with a price of 280 dollars, about 230 euros to change.

Chromebook computers have been designed with the aim of education and, to a lesser extent, the business sector. These devices are not as powerful as a laptop with Windows, but they are much cheaper and allow you to do most of the tasks you would need, for example, a student.
The Lenovo 300e is a Chromebook with the 2-in-1 format. It has an 11.6-inch HD screen and 10-point multi-touch technology. That joins the rest of the team through a 360-degree hinge, which allows placing the screen in multiple positions. Also, the display can also be used with a conventional number 2 pencil, without the need for a special stylus.

Surely when reading the pencil, you have brought your hands to your head. But is that another feature of the Chromebook is its resistance. As we said, they are computers designed for the classrooms, with what that entails. The Lenovo 300e has a hardened silicone layer to cushion the shock. Besides, the most delicate points have been reinforced, as well as the hinge. The equipment complies with MIL-STD-810G military-grade tests, being resistant to drops of up to 75 centimeters.
On the other hand, the keyboard includes a sealed touchpad and resists spills of up to 330 ml. On the other side, the keys are mechanically anchored so they can not be easily torn off.
Inside the Lenovo 300e, we have a MediaTek MTK 8173C processor. That is accompanied by 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal eMMC storage. On the other hand, we have a battery that offers a range of about 10 hours of use.
Regarding connectivity, the Lenovo 300e has equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, one of Type A and Type C another. We also have an HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac dual-band WiFi connectivity.
As we mentioned, the Lenovo 300e will reach the US market next February with a price of $ 280.
