Reserved for the HTC Vive for months, the VR LA Noire experience has finally landed on Oculus Rift!
L.A. Black: The VR Case Files available on Oculus Rift
And yes, little reminder shot, Rockstar had decided to do without the Rift by literally blocking compatibility with the helmet, but that’s it, the experience has finally not only become compatible with the latter but is also published on the official Oculus store :
Unfortunately, it seems that the game suffers from a lot of launch bugs and requires to log your Rockstar account the first time you start, and this without warning in the helmet. Be sure to check that the game launches well on classic screen before trying to play it in VR thus.
For anyone who doesn’t know the title, L.A. Black: The VR Case Files is an investigation game developed by Rockstar in the 1940s. It will be necessary to speak to the protagonists and to probe them in order to discover the truth about cases, which are 7 in this version VR.
You can get it for 30 euros on the Oculus Store or on Steam and we tested the title for those who are interested, with nice elements but bugs that hinder the fun of the game (read the test).
