For a couple of months now, rumors about the absence of physical buttons on the new iPhones have been swirling. Apparently, this will be a change that will be applied to the iPhone 15 Pro. This model would have no physical buttons, no volume buttons, and no power buttons. This rumor has been rumored for weeks, but now a concrete model is already being mentioned.
The iPhone 15 Pro.
The iPhone 15 Pro won’t have physical buttons
Apple has been planning for some time to remove physical buttons from its phones, something that will finally happen with its next generation, at least on the Pro model.
Button-less
Ming-Chi Kuo was the first to mention this back in October, and he’s known to usually get it right when talking about Apple’s phones. The first mentioned was that the iPhone 15 Pro wasn’t going to have volume buttons. Instead of these buttons, the phone was going to have touch sensors that would also be accompanied by the Taptic Engine. This would make for a better user experience by mimicking the experience of a real button.
Now there is also mention of the absence of a physical power button. While this is something that could not be confirmed, it follows Apple’s trend in this quest to remove buttons from its devices, but it may take a little longer to happen, compared to the volume buttons.
Apple never confirms such rumors, as you already know, so we can only wait until we know the next generation of phones the firm, which will not arrive until September next year. It will be then when we can see if this iPhone 15 Pro has no physical buttons, both the volume buttons and the power button.
