According to media reports, the iPhone 12 series will have faster face recognition, improved zoom, and longer battery life. Apple is still planning to introduce a “dynamic partitioning algorithm” that could speed up face identification. In the meantime, it seems that all iPhone 12 models will have a significantly improved digital zoom through software enhancements and that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will also benefit from an improved optical zoom.
It is also said that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will have improved battery life for at least one hour, but the iPhone 12 mini is expected to perform worse than the iPhone 11 due to its size.
In addition to the above information, it was reported that Apple may be equipping iPhone 12 series models with the “Smart Data Mode” that allows phones to seamlessly switch between 4G and 5G connectivity.
Recently it was also reported that Apple will launch a MagSafe charger for iPhone 12 that will support magnetic connectivity.
Apple had already announced that it will hold its launch event on October 14 at 1 am PST. It is generally expected that the company will introduce the iPhone 12 and other products at the event.
Analysts and research firms expect Apple to launch four new iPhone 12 models this year: iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. All models will support 5G and will be equipped with OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) panels.
Last week, the media reported that Apple may not unveil the first Mac computer with its proprietary chip at a conference this week, but will instead launch the device in November.
