Intel launches its new NVMe 760P SSD with capacities from 128GB to 2TB capacity

Intel has launched its new series of SSD NVMe 760P in M.2 format. The new SSDs that come from capacities of 128GB to 2TB. These new units are manufactured using the Silicon Motion SM2262 controller and NAND Intel 3D TLC 64 layer and 256Gb memories.

The new units start with a slower 128GB drive. Also, that is capable of reaching 1640 MB/s of sequential read and 650 MB/s of sequential writing for a price of 73 dollars. This unit has a life of 72 TB of deeds or a five-year warranty. This model is followed by a 256GB model capable of reaching 3210 MB / s of reading and 1315MB/s of writing, increasing life in writings of up to 144 TB for a price of 109 dollars. Also, the model of 512GB is capable of reaching the 3230 MB/s of reading. And 1625 MB/s of writing and a price of 199 dollars.

The 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB units are single-sided models. While the 1TB and 2TB models will distribute their chips to both sides of the PCB. Although no prices or specifications of these latest units have been revealed. Intel has ensured that large groups will arrive during Q1 2018. So we should not take long to see them in stores.

Finally, in terms of security, the new units offer self-encryption of AES 256 Bit data. So the safety of our data in the group should be guaranteed.
